Rocky Mountain Bottling Company

King Industries was involved in all phases of a $56 million complete redesign and modernization of the plant manufacturing processes. King Industries was one of the major companies involved in the total project procedure.

In the project-planning phase, King was instrumental in developing the scope, schedules, cost estimates, and a major contributor to the project team. For project execution, we provided design, procurement, and construction to the glass furnaces piping, the oxy-fuel systems, sheet metal for the furnaces, the throat, refiner, forehearth piping, cooling systems, the forehearth thermocouple, temperature control systems, motor cooling, bottle machine piping, oil separation systems, as well as numerous other mechanical installations.

King Industries was also a major contributor to the total administration of this project in the accounting, project tracking, and reporting accountabilities.


HONDA Manufacturing of Alabama

King Industries was involved with the construction in the Paint Finishing Area of a new Honda $440 million auto and engine manufacturing plant producing minivans and V-6 engines. King was a primary contractor for TKS Industrial Company, ABB Flexible Automation, Luwa-Mexico, as well as others.

Our project scope included: Installation of 190,000 CFM air supply houses with fans and ductwork, Phosphate & E Coat piping, DI water piping, E Coat Phosphate, Rinse tanks, exhaust duct & pumps, roof top helicopter installation of environmental stacks & duct, fabrication & installation of steel platforms for tanks & pumps, RUB rails for E Coat tank, Installation of E Coat process (Electric), and installation of pump stations. Numerous other mechanical fabrication and installations were performed.


ACCORDIS Industrial Fibers
Plant Expansion & Modernization:

Location: Scottsboro, Alabama

King Industries was a prime contractor for Accordis Industrial Fibers, one of the worlds leading producers of industrial fibers used in the automotive industry. Our work included three major expansion / modernization projects which ranged from pellet off loading to the finished product. The scope of work included all process and environmental HVAC, exhaust and quench air systems, Dowtherm / Polymer Systems with all process and related utility piping, string-ups & waste recovery systems, instrumentation, pellet material handling systems & storage, and set all equipment including extruders, quench air tubes, draw stands, and winders.
